Birmingham, Alabama, March 14, 2017 – HP Hotels announced today that Charles Oswald has assumed the role of President and CEO. He was formerly President and COO. Mike Hines, HP Hotels’ Chairman, made the announcement.

Oswald joined HP Hotels in 2012. As CEO he is responsible for the company vision, hotel performance and day-to-day operational execution.

With over 25 years of hotel and resort experience that includes Hilton, Marriott, Starwood, Hyatt, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Choice and independents, Oswald is knowledgeable in all phases of hotel operations from concept and opening, to operational execution, and long term financial planning. Prior to joining HP Hotels, Oswald served as Vice President of Operations with Noble Investment Group. There he operated a portfolio of upscale hotels, and successfully transitioned his portfolio through Noble's 2011 merger with Interstate Hotels & Resorts. He also developed or co-authored many of the organization's key enterprise solutions used for Revenue Generation, Profit Analysis and Annual Business Planning. Since joining HP, the organization has more than doubled annual revenues.
