Search service option for restaurants and hotels

ATLANTA, GA – January 8, 2019 – Carver-Olson Hospitality Search, a subsidiary of The Carver Companies, announced that Rick Jordan will manage Carver TalentXpress, their newly launched search service that will focus on candidates for restaurant and limited service hotel positions within the $30,000 – 50,000 annual salary range.

Jordan has a wide range of hospitality experience including his most recent role serving for the past 10 years as vice president of recruiting for a prestigious, Chicago-based, hospitality search firm.

Within hotel operations, Jordan has held the positions of restaurant manager, director of banquets, director of food and beverage. In the restaurant environment, he has worked as beverage manager, service manager, general manager, executive chef, and multi-unit director of operations.

During his career, Jordan has opened more than 20 multi-million dollar restaurants all across North America. In addition, as senior director of training and development for a $350M restaurant group, he oversaw all training and development for hourly front of house and back of house roles, chefs, banquet managers, and accounting operations managers.

In his position with Carver-Olson, Jordan will focus on business development for the team’s restaurant and TalentXpress products, and will also refer executive search opportunities to the Carver-Olson Executive Recruiters.

TalentXpress, a modified and simpler version of search, will be offered at a flat fee with a split payment method. Through TalentXpress, the Carver team will take their clients’ specifications, identify and present candidates, and facilitate the hiring process.

Another service TalentXpress will provide clients for a flat fee is the research and results discovered as interested candidates in a particular opportunity surface. This service is priced at a lower cost to connect candidates directly to clients, without the Carver team involvement in the whole interview and closing process.

While Carver-Olson full cycle search is a more thorough, complete service, TalentXpress gives clients new choices at lower price points, and allows the Carver team to branch out and serve the restaurant sector.
