Sept. 13–The Holiday Inn Express at 5500 Tuttle Crossing Blvd. has new owners, who plan more than $1 million in renovations starting this fall.

According to public records, Lewis Center-based RK Petroleum Corp. purchased the 117-room hotel for $10.1 million from Tuttle Inn Developers LLC in August.

General manager David Conley said the Holiday Inn is the only Columbus-area hotel owned by the new investors.

He said the hotel's public areas will be renovated starting this fall, with a renovation of the rooms following by late 2019.

The 10-year-old hotel is just outside I-270, less than a mile from The Mall at Tuttle Crossing.
