September 25, 2018 (Newport Beach, California) — BirchStreet Systems, the market leader in P2P software for the hospitality industry, announce the additions of Paul Rantilla as the company’s chief commercial officer (CCO) and Jeremy Grosgebauer as the company’s chief financial officer (CFO). Rantilla is a seasoned sales executive with over two decades in the hospitality industry focused on enterprise software. Grosgebauer brings to the BirchStreet executive team years of experience as a senior financial executive with privately held and publicly owned companies in the SaaS space. The demand for BirchStreet’s product is robust and these new executives bolster BirchStreet’s objective of pursuing new growth opportunities in its core market of hospitality and many adjacent markets.

Both Rantilla and Grosgebauer will work directly with BirchStreet’s CEO Steve Markle to execute their growth strategy. “We are excited to have Paul and Jeremy join our executive leadership team”, said BirchStreet CEO Steve Markle. “Paul brings with him extensive hospitality enterprise software sales experience at the executive level that will allow us to increase our leadership in the cloud-based P2P hospitality industry. Rantilla brings 25 years of sales experience in the hospitality enterprise software industry. Before joining BirchStreet, Rantilla was EVP of Sales at Amadeus Hospitality which he joined in 2014. Prior to Amadeus, Rantilla spent twelve years as EVP of Global Sales at Passkey International and prior to that he was Director of Sales at Newmarket International, which was acquired by Amadeus IT Group SA in 2013 to form Amadeus Hospitality. Rantilla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. His areas of expertise include sales, account management, product implementation, strategic customer relationships, and alignment to revenue.

Grosgebauer served most recently as VP of Finance at Workiva Inc., a publicly traded cloud software company focused in the areas of complex reporting, compliance and data management. At Workiva, Grosgebauer’s leadership over the finance department helped the company through an initial public offering and many successful quarters operating as a public company. Prior to Workiva, Grosgebauer held senior financial executive positions at Volt Information Sciences and American Career College. Grosgebauer earned an MBA in Management from California State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from North Dakota State University. His areas of expertise include corporate finance, treasury, tax, accounting, budgeting, and financial planning.
