The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, December 2018… BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, is expanding its boot print in the great State of Texas, and meeting planners can celebrate in true Lone Star style at three distinctive properties. Included are Hotel Contessa in San Antonio, Doug Pitcock ’49 Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center in College Station, and Delta Hotels by Marriott Dallas Allen & Watters Creek Convention Center in Allen near Dallas. Planning professionals who book a new meeting at one of the three hotels will receive a spectacular, complimentary outdoor barbecue with a menu created by celebrity chef Stephan Pyles, the Father of Southwestern Cuisine. Meetings must be booked by January 31st, 2019 for a date between December, 2018 and December 31, 2019.
All three properties are part of the Benchmark Resorts & Hotels brand and each offers superb outdoor spaces perfect for celebrating under the Texas sky. Texas fare and flair are evident in the unique menu items, such as honey-injected fried chicken, Gulf shrimp, brisket tacos and more. In the fall, winter and spring, Texas temperatures hover in the 60s and 70s – perfect for al fresco dining.
“As a Texas-based company, we are pleased and proud to be expanding in the Lone Star State,” says Benchmark’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Ted Davis. “Benchmark recently added two new hotels to its Texas portfolio – each is distinctive and reflects the diversity of Texas and the best of each destination.”
