NEW YORK, NY (August 30, 2022) — Boutique Design New York (BDNY), the leading trade fair and conference for hospitality’s boutique and lifestyle design community, returns to the Javits Center on November 13-14, 2022. This annual event brings interior designers, architects, purchasing agents, creatives, and hotel and restaurant owners, operators, brands, and developers together with inventive manufacturers for two days of networking and inspiration. This bespoke, curated experience features more than 550 exhibitors that focus on a selection of exceptional product solutions for lodging, restaurants, wellness, clubs, marine, and senior lifestyle interiors.
“From kicking off with the Platinum Circle Awards gala and the engaging conference sessions and hundreds of products on the show floor to closing with the Gold Key Awards, BDNY 2022 will be a true celebration of the industry,” says Stacy Shoemaker Rauen, SVP, Design Group, Emerald. “We are excited to bring the community back together again.”
“Hospitality—particularly boutique and lifestyle hospitality—continues to flourish as more and more people seek out personalized travel experiences. We’re excited to see what ideas and partnerships come out of connections made by the hospitality leaders, design and project teams, and exceptional vendors in attendance at BDNY 2022,” said Kevin Gaffney, Group Show Director and Vice President, Emerald.
This year, BDNY returns with a wide-ranging conference program showcasing CEU-accredited sessions and timely and thought-provoking panel discussions from design visionaries, rising stars, and thought leaders alike. In addition, the ultra-inspiring Designed Spaces, created by leading hospitality design teams using exhibitor partners’ products, are back this year, featuring booths designed by Westin Hotels & Resorts and EoA Group; Element Hotels and the Society; WorldHotels Crafted Collection and EDG Design; and DLR Group. Also making a comeback is BDNY Meet, a platform for targeted meetings between exhibitors and attendees. New this year is the BDNY Design Spotters program where influential designers will share their favorite product finds from the show floor on Instagram.
