FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – March 14, 2018 – Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach – a DoubleTree by Hilton, announces the promotion of Lisa Namour to General Manager, where she will oversee all operations and continue rolling out the property’s new programs and offerings. Namour first joined Bahia Mar as its sales and marketing director in 2015 and has since been integral to the property’s repositioning and redesign. She will be responsible for elevating guest experiences and plans to take the 296-room hotel to the next level in terms of service and programming.

“I’m thrilled by the opportunity to lead Bahia Mar as General Manager,” said Namour. “My first calls to action are to build a strong hotel culture with our internal talent that exemplifies both Hilton & Bahia Mar’s future, while taking our guest experience to the next level by surprising and delighting their experience based on their individual preferences.”

Namour is a proven leader at Bahia Mar, having successfully built a new sales and catering team in her three-year tenure. She increased group revenues two years in a row; drove the average event rates 5.7 percent; and boosted the number of weddings and local catered events at Bahia Mar by 50 percent.

"We are very excited to have Lisa Namour," said James Tate, Bahia Mar co-owner and CEO of Tate Capital. “Her background, experience in hospitality and dedication to this property have been a tremendous asset.”

Prior to her time at Bahia Mar, Lisa Namour led the food & beverage program for the Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training facility in Vero Beach and spent years leading top hotel brands, including Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, LLC and Thayer Lodging Group. She has opened and transitioned several properties, including the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center, the transition of the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center St. Louis to the Hilton family and the transition of Wyndham Miami Hotel to the Sheraton Miami Airport & Executive Meeting Center.
