Firm looking to add talent in the United States and Canada

ATLANTA – Avison Young, the world’s fastest-growing commercial real estate services firm, announced today that its newly formed hospitality group is planning rapid expansion in the United States and Canada.
The Hospitality Group, currently comprised of 21 US brokers, has 190 hotels on the market, totaling $3 billion. Since Avison Young announced the purchase of Atlanta-based Hotel Assets Group (Hotel AG) last month, the group has added new brokers in Washington D.C. and expects to add several experienced brokers throughout the United States in the immediate future. Additionally, the firm has plans to rapidly expand its talent in Canada by purchasing a Canadian hotel brokerage firm or existing team.

The group, which specializes in select service and full service hotels within the U.S., works with CMBS lenders, whole loan banks, REITs, public companies, investment funds and private investors. In the past month alone, the firm has been engaged on $300 million dollars’ worth of new assignments.
