NEW YORK – July 27, 2021 – Arlo Hotels today announced the appointment of Jimmy Suh as the Chief Commercial Officer of the independent lifestyle hotel brand. Effective immediately, Suh will oversee all aspects related to brand marketing, sales, and revenue maximization with a specific goal of achieving the company’s commercial objectives and growth across all Arlo’s properties, including the brand’s latest opening of the Arlo Midtown in May. We are absolutely delighted that Jimmy will now bring this unique combination of qualities to a senior leadership position at Arlo, helping our young brand grow and innovate with particular focus on opportunities in the digital space and customer experience.”

Suh said, “I am excited to be joining Arlo hotels. I have been impressed by the company’s growth and their drive to offer a better hotel experience, setting the stage for the next generation of travelers. I look forward to contributing to Arlo’s success with exciting, innovative programs and product offerings.”

A leader in revenue management and distribution technology solutions for over two decades, Suh brings an innovative approach and considerable hotel experience to Arlo Hotels, having held senior roles at prominent independent hotel companies including Loews, Kimpton, and The Standard. While at The Standard, Suh created the One Night Standard app, a last-minute hotel booking app for a curated collection of lifestyle hotels that generated tremendous fanfare from both the competing hotel brands and travelers alike. In 2019, Suh founded One Night, Inc., a venture-backed hotel distribution company for independent hotels. The One Night app operates in 15 major cities with over 150 hotels on its platform.

Suh began his career at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, where he served as the company’s first-ever Vice President of Revenue Management & Distribution. During this time, he was elected and served as the president of Hotel Electronics Distribution Network Association (HEDNA), a non-profit global association geared towards maximizing and advancing hotels’ electronic distribution initiatives. In 2004, Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) named Suh one of the Top 25 eMarketers.

Suh graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, as well as from Kellogg School of Management/Northwestern University’s Executive Management Program, Marketing & Strategic Pricing.
