MIAMI (May 4, 2022) – Arlo Hotels, an independent, experience-driven hotel brand with locations in New York City and Miami, today announced the appointment of Jennifer Hiblum as general manager of Arlo Wynwood. The property, which will debut this fall, marks the first hotel project in Miami’s vibrant arts district. Hiblum will play an integral role in establishing Arlo’s new flagship property, leading day-to-day operations and cultivating deep community ties to reimagine Arlo’s “come as you are” ethos for the Wynwood neighborhood.

Hiblum is a multifaceted hotelier who comes to Arlo with more than 20 years of experience working in boutique lifestyle hotels. A New Yorker by nature, Jennifer worked in the competitive northeast market for nearly 15 years, where she honed her skills as a proven, high-level operator and developed a passion for personalized guest service. She has held general manager positions at leading New York City hospitality brands including Viceroy Hotels & Resorts and Sixty Hotels. After moving to Miami in 2019, Hiblum took on the role of General Manager for Residences by Armani Casa, where she led all back-of-house and resident-facing operations for the leading luxury brand.

“We needed a visionary leader to manifest our Arlo edition of Wynwood’s premier hotel development, and we’ve found that in Jennifer,” said Oleg Pavlov, founder and CEO of Quadrum Global, owner of Arlo Hotels. “She comes to us with a wealth of leadership and operations experience in both of our primary markets and will gracefully bring cohesion of New York’s hustle and Miami’s charisma in an entirely unique way befitting Arlo Wynwood.”

In this role, Hiblum is responsible for hotel management, communications, partnership with food and beverage, and department oversight for Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping & Security to ensure the highest levels of guest service. She is also charged with implementing strategies to maximize revenue and appropriately enhance all hotel assets.

“It’s a rare opportunity to be able to open the first hotel in any major U.S. destination, and I’m thrilled to be taking on the responsibility under the Arlo name,” said Jennifer. “I look forward to bringing this property to life over the next several months, and eventually welcoming travelers to what is sure to be a new destination hotel in Miami.”
