Chicago, IL – August 15, 2018 – Chicago’s newest hotel, Aloft Chicago Mag Mile, is on track for an October 2018 debut. Leading the charge for this highly anticipated opening is the newly appointed executive team, General Manager, Liz Kraft and Director of Sales & Marketing, Brad Krillenberger. This duo comes with extensive Chicago-specific expertise, having spent more than 15 years each working in the hospitality industry in the city of the property with 337 urban-inspired guestrooms and just over 5,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting spaces, making this one of the largest Aloft properties.

Kraft was most recently the general manager of the Aloft Chicago O’Hare. She was at the hotel for seven years, previously as the director of sales. In her sales role, Kraft was responsible for an award-winning team, aptly named Sales Team of the Year by its ownership group. Under her leadership, the hotel was also honored with Hotel of the Year distinction. Kraft’s proven and impressive track record propelled her into the general manager post, which she held for nearly two years. She earned the respect of her staff with consistent and outstanding employee satisfaction surveys. She is a graduate of Northern Illinois University.

Working in tandem with Kraft, Krillenberger will be leading the sales effort for this 337 room new-build hotel. Most recently, Krillenberger was the business transient sales manager for

W Hotels of Chicago, intimately involved with multiple Chicago properties. Krillenberger is actively involved in the local community which lends to his wealth of Chicago-specific knowledge as well as his hotel experience, having held positions at Sheraton Grand Chicago, Westin River North and Embassy Suites Chicago Downtown Lakefront. Krillenberger spent a decade at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as a senior associate director. He holds a Master of Science from Northwestern University and completed his undergraduate degree at Purdue University.

“We are excited about expanding our portfolio with one of the largest Aloft properties in the country and all of the creative elements involved. This launches the next chapter in our decades-long relationship in Chicago,” said Robert Snyder, president of Tishman Hotel Corporation. “We’re committed to supporting our local neighborhood and creating unique art and music-inspired experiences as we grow our presence here.”
