Almanac Hotels is proud to announce and welcome Stefan Ludwig in two key roles for the group. He will serve as Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for Almanac Hotels and as Pre-Opening Director of Sales & Marketing for Almanac Vienna. Mr. Ludwig brings 16 years of hospitality experience to his role in the company in sales and marketing as well as in the food and beverage operations of some of the world’s finest hotels. Most recently, he joined from 5* Ritz-Carlton in Vienna where he served as the Director of Sales and Marketing as well as a Member of the Guidance Team.

Almanac Hotels has an aggressive growth plan over the next five years with openings in Vienna, Prague, Budapest and Zagreb. Creating the foundation of a team as we further launch the Almanac brand, it was important to find someone who had the depth and breadth of knowledge from an international perspective. Stefan and I have worked together prior in Vienna and he is a passionate hotelier who brings an understanding of what luxury really means in today’s market,” says Jean-Paul Dantil, Vice President of Operations for Almanac Hotels.

“Working for an all new luxury hotel brand and joining the team on its journey to enliven a new vision of hospitality, has always been a dream for me,” says Ludwig. “It makes me truly proud to join the team at this very important time of the company as we set sails for the further growth of Almanac Hotels.”

Mr. Ludwig has worked in various capacities in some of the world’s finest hotels. For six years, Stefan rose through the ranks at two of Germany’s premier properties: the 5* Kempinski Adlon in Berlin and the 5* Hotel Beyerischer Hof in Munich. Moving to the Ritz-Carlton company in 2004, he became a leader in sales serving in their hotels in Berlin and Shanghai. Stefan spent four years at the world renown 5* Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel in Interlaken, Switzerland followed by 5* Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg.
