Ann Arbor, Mich. – AJ Capital Partners announced today that it has acquired The Dahlmann Campus Inn in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  The 14-‐story, 204 room full-‐service hotel is located at the corner of State and Huron, directly across the street from the University of Michigan’s central campus.  Through its 45 year history, the property has played host to heads of state, industry leaders and – before every home game – the Michigan Football team.

As downtown Ann Arbor’s only full service hotel, The Dahlmann Campus Inn offers over 9,000 square feet of flexible meeting and social event facilities, a fitness center, three-‐meal restaurant and bar. Prominently situated at the gateway to the State Street retail corridor and a short walk to both Kerrytown and Main Street, the property provides immediate access to the myriad restaurants, bars, boutiques, galleries and performing arts venues that define Ann Arbor.  The University of Michigan athletic campus including Yost Arena, Crisler Arena and Michigan Stadium are also within walking distance.

”It is with great pleasure that we announce the acquisition of Ann Arbor’s Dahlmann Campus Inn,” says Ben Weprin, CEO of AJ Capital Partners. “Since the inception of Graduate Hotels, we have had our sights on this iconic property and the dynamic City of Ann Arbor. This acquisition exemplifies our strategy of investing in supremely well-‐located assets in multi-‐dimensional university-‐anchored markets. For over twenty-‐five years, the Dahlmann family have been excellent stewards of the Campus Inn.  We look forward to continuing their legacy.”

In 2016, the hotel will undergo a comprehensive conversion to a Graduate Hotel. The transition will touch all guestrooms, common areas, and the hotel lobby. In addition, Graduate Hotels will introduce an innovative, locally-‐centric food and beverage program designed to foster interaction between hotel guests, local Ann Arborites and the University community.
