  • Hyatt Hotels – Olympia Hotel Management was selected for the Operating Excellence Award by Hyatt Hotels Corp. at the March Owner’s Conference in 2016. The Operating Excellence award recognizes a company for its outstanding ability to see that Hyatt-branded hotels run smoothly, and for helping Hyatt on its path to becoming the most preferred hotel company. Olympia Hotel Management currently manages Hyatt Place Crocker Park, Westlake, Ohio; and Hyatt Place Chicago South, Chicago, IL and has other Hyatt projects in the development pipeline.
  • The Alfond Inn at Rollins, Winter Park, Florida – The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards ranked The Alfond Inn at Rollins the #7 hotel in the United States, while Travel + Leisure magazine recognized the hotel among the 15 Best City Hotels in the US. Owned by Rollins College, a private coeducational liberal arts college in Winter Park, The Alfond Inn was built with a $12.5 million grant from the Harold Alfond Foundation. Net operating income from the Inn is directed to The Alfond Scholars program fund, the College's premier scholarship fund. The hotel showcases The Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art for Rollins College, which is part of the Cornell Fine Arts Museum. The 112-room boutique hotel includes the award-winning Hamilton's Kitchen restaurant, a pool and fitness center, and 10,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. It is 15 minutes from downtown Orlando.
  • Inn by the Sea, Cape Elizabeth, Maine – The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards ranked Inn by the Sea a Top 20 Resort in New England while Travel + Leisure named the hotel as a Top 100 Hotel Worldwide. Located along sandy Crescent Beach, just seven miles south of Portland, Inn by the Sea is managed by Olympia Hotel Management and offers guests an elegant but relaxed coastal Maine experience in 61 luxuriously appointed one and two bedroom suites and Ocean View Beach Suites.
  • Hilton Garden Inn – Olympia Hotel Management received seven brand awards for 2015 from Hilton Garden Inn (awarded in 2016), including Hotel of the Year, General Manager of the Year, Director of Sales of the Year and Community Service Project of the Year. Olympia Hotel Management currently manages the Hilton Garden Inn Portland Downtown in Portland, Maine and Hilton Garden Inn Durham in Durham, North Carolina.
  • Hyatt Place Chicago-South/University Medical Center – General manager Anthony Beach was named Hyatt Place General Manager of the Year in 2015. Beach is hospitality professional with more than 18 years of experience in hotel operations. He assumed a pre-opening leadership role at the hotel nine months before the property opened in September 2013. Olympia Hotel Management partnered with Smart Hotels, LLC to develop the property which brings a highly successful lodging amenity to Hyde Park Chicago.

Olympia Hotel Management continues to demonstrate leadership in the collegiate hospitality sector with two new hotel openings over the last several months, each one designed to serve the specific culture of the campus community:

  • The Hotel at Oberlin, Oberlin, Ohio – The Hotel at Oberlin, one of the most innovative green hotels in the world, opened this month. Owned by Oberlin College, it is the first hotel in the U.S. to incorporate solar, geothermal, and radiant heating and cooling. The 70-room property is engineered to be one of the most environmentally sustainable hotels in the world and is one of only five hotels in the country designed to qualify for the rigorous LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
  • The Inn at Swarthmore – Opened in May 2016, this new 40-room hotel located on campus and close to Philadelphia. The hotel includes 3,500 square feet of meeting space and The Broad Table Tavern, a full service restaurant with a seasonally inspired menu.
