Rydges Hotels and Resorts Partners With CheckMate to Increase Revenue, Drive Loyalty and Exceed Guest Expectations
San Francisco, CA July 24, 2014 - CheckMate, the revolutionary online and mobile check-in service for hospitality, announced today that Rydges Hotels and Resorts has selected their guest-centric tools to personalize service and increase profits across 49 properties. Defined by a passion for service, Rydges is a dynamic family of hotels and resorts that accommodates over one million guests each year in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
Working with CheckMate, Rydges anticipates seeing an increase in loyalty program memberships and will be able to differentiate their brand by offering the convenience of online and mobile check-in. Rydges needed a solution that could scale across many hotels, as well as deliver a strong ROI. CheckMate provided the ideal platform to enable them to achieve their goals and accommodate guests.
The Rydges Sydney Airport property was the first to launch the new check-in technology and has been generating $4,000 in monthly incremental revenue from room upgrades and ancillaries. This equates to over $50,000 in annual revenue that would not have otherwise been realized. With 30-50% of guests using online check-in every day, it's clear the program is off to a great start.
Increased Loyalty and Better Guest Service
With CheckMate, guests no longer have to wait in line at the front desk, can personalize their stay online and receive alerts on their smartphone when their room is ready. Operationally, the guest data provided by CheckMate can help staff anticipate guest needs pre-arrival.
In addition to offering online check-in, another benefit for Rydges has been encouraging guests to sign-up for their Priority Guest Rewards program. CheckMate's intuitive functionality "pre-fills" the loyalty enrollment form, making it very simple for guests to sign-up.
"With multiple properties and a commitment to personal service, Rydges Hotel Group is a perfect customer for us," stated Drew Patterson, CEO and Co-Founder of CheckMate. "We are honored that they have selected our technology to engage guests, enhance guest experience and maximize revenue. We look forward to further expanding our relationship with Rydges to accelerate their growth and success."
