The Westin Galleria and The Westin Oaks Link Group Sales and Catering with Automation Program Designed for Hotel Clusters
Delphi Multi-Property Edition Installed
 
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (August 9, 1999) - Newmarket International today announced the installation of Delphi Multi-Property Edition (Delphi MPE), its new sales and catering application engineered for multi-property systems, at a Houston cluster made up of The Westin Galleria and The Westin Oaks.
 
The Houston cluster is one of five that Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, which owns the Westin brand, will automate in 1999 using Newmarket�s Windows-based Delphi MPE software that uses a SQL Server 7.0 database to provide up-to-the-second availability and full property detail onscreen for each hotel in a specified system.

Delphi MPE features a multi-property guest rooms control (GRC) log and function diary, and was designed to provide sales teams with all essential information instantly to book more business on a customer�s initial call.
 
�We are excited about being one of the first Delphi MPE sites,� said Janice O�Neill, director of sales and marketing at The Westin Galleria and The Oaks.  �We feel Delphi MPE will help our staff generate more time to sell and thus more sales, while eliminating paper trails and missed opportunities.� 

Newmarket converted Westin�s customer data for the two hotels from a competing product, and built in the opportunity to add more properties to the same database in the future.
