| RENO, Nev., June 18, 1999 - The Peppermill Hotel Casino
is in the middle of the first phase of a three phase $300 million expansion
that when completed, will make the Peppermill the largest hotel casino
in northern Nevada.
With the recent acquisitions of an adjacent 12-acre movie theater complex,
a restaurant and a motel the Peppermill now has 40 contiguous acres and
1,500 linear feet frontage on Virginia Street, Reno�s main street.
The purchases have allowed the Peppermill to design a masterplan to maximize
the potential of this property that began as a small coffee shop 28 years
ago. This masterplan will complete a consistent architectural style throughout
the resort. The Peppermill Hotel Casino currently has 1,070 rooms
and 185 Jacuzzi suites�that�s more suites than any other northern Nevada
property�six restaurants and nine themed lounges.
 Phase
I is a $65 million project and it will open in November. See accompanying
detailed fact sheet. When the final two phases of the $300 million
expansion are finished, the resort will encompass 2,234 rooms; eight themed
restaurants; 10 themed bars and lounges; 125,000 square feet of flexible,
dynamic convention and special event space; greatly expanded resort pool
and spa; fashionable retail shops; two outdoor water fountain features,
a six-lane, 25,000 square foot Porte Cochere and two beautifully landscaped
parking garages. The casino will continue to take center stage with excitement

firm has been working with a team of renowned FX specialists from Hollywood
who have worked with Universal Studios, the �X Files� and �Godzilla.� This
