New York, N.Y. (June, 1999) � In a move intended to extend
its Hospitality design capabilities to its regional offices, the architecture
firm The Hillier Group has expanded its Hospitality practice from Princeton,
New Jersey to New York. Leading this effort will be Paul Bellisario, RA,
Project Designer, and John P. De Luca, RA, Associate. The two will continue
to work on a range of hotel, restaurant, conference center and gaming projects
from Hillier�s Manhattan office.
A hotel expert, Paul Bellisario�s work includes designs for everything
from small inns to five-star resorts. His extensive knowledge of hotel
design and keen understanding of the hospitality industry will allow Mr.
Bellisario to further expand Hillier�s offerings in the New York market.
His experience in obtaining hotel financing and his understanding of marketing
and operations programs are invaluable to hospitality clients. Among Mr.
Bellisario�s accomplishments are the Trump Marina in Atlantic City, New
Jersey, the Radisson Isla Hotel in Saipan, and the Peninsula Hotel in Bangkok,
Thailand. A graduate of Pratt Institute, Mr. Bellisario received a Bachelor
of Architecture degree.
John De Luca has more than 15 years of design experience with The Hillier
Group, and currently serves as both Project Architect and Project Manager.
Adept at design development and client communication, Mr. De Luca�s straightforward
approach has won him kudos from clients worldwide. His work in the firm�s
Hospitality Studio has resulted in numerous successful designs. Mr. De
Luca�s client list includes Star City, a mixed-use entertainment facility
in Sydney, Australia; the Sheraton Hotel at the New Jersey Meadowlands;
the Marriott Hotel at Newark International Airport; and Showboat Casino
Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Mr. De Luca received his Bachelor of
Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
