Hospitality Solutions International Launches Jaguar PMS 4.0 Utilizing Microsoft SQL Server 7.0

June 15, 1999 - Hospitality Solutions International (HSI), total solution provider to the international hospitality community, will unveil Jaguar version 4.0, the newest release of their Microsoft Windows NT/SQL Server 7.0 based Property Management System, at the 27th annual HITEC Show in Atlanta, Georgia, June 21-24.  Selected new features include:
  • On-screen "tape chart" with check-out, check-in, and edit capabilities plus drag and drop functionality
  • Rate finder for rack availability on any given day
  • Web-based front end for room availability and housekeeping status with increased drill down capabilities
  • Customizable message attachments for guest folios
  • Waiting list for reservations
"Through the utilization of the most current tools available from Microsoft, HSI has continued to lead in the development of cutting edge systems for the hospitality operator," says Ken Hales, Director of PMS/CRS System Architecture for HSI.  "The significant improvements made to Jaguar PMS version 4.0 also include the inherent benefits contributed by one of the most advanced relational database products on the market, Microsoft SQL Server 7.0," he adds.

George Zugmier, President of HSI, sees additional benefits that HSI products like Jaguar bring to the technology marketplace.  "Hospitality operators are looking for robust, Microsoft based applications," he says.   "What they receive from HSI is the most mature Windows based system offered to date. When companies were entering the development process for a Windows based PMS application, HSI was already delivering systems to the international hospitality community.  As our competitors entered alpha-testing phases with Windows based products, HSI continued building on a stable product that had withstood the test of time. No other Windows based PMS product offered in the hospitality marketplace has endured the years of day-to-day operational use that Jaguar has," he adds.

Hospitality Solutions International was created as a result of the merger between HSI, developer of the first Windows based POS application (HSI POS), and Global Hospitality Solutions, developer of the successful Jaguar Property Management System and the 1997 Microsoft RAD design winning Falcon Central Reservations System.   Hospitality Solutions International's complete product line can be seen at HITEC booth #1407.

Hospitality Solutions International maintains corporate offices strategically located in Boca Raton, Florida and Scottsdale, Arizona, complimented by over 20 domestic and international offices.  Hospitality Solutions International is financially backed by GEOCapital Partners.
