| 17 Jun 1999 - Choice Hotels International (NYSE:CHH) has
issued a Request for Information (RFI) to over 100 lenders, seeking to
name a limited number as endorsed lenders recommended for use in the development,
refinancing, and/or renovation of Comfort, Quality, Clarion, Sleep Inn,
Econo Lodge, Rodeway Inn and MainStay Suites brand hotels worldwide.
Deadline for submission of information is Monday, June 21.
This unique method of determining lender partners is in line with the
company's strategic partnership philosophy, which seeks to provide Choice
franchisees with the most cost effective and most beneficial options in
all elements of the lodging franchise business. Lenders who are selected
for further review will participate in an all-day summit with Choice senior
management at the company's Silver Spring headquarters; from this group,
a limited number will be identified as Choice - endorsed. |
