Intranet Services Available to Road Warriors with Alphanet's The OfficeTM

RAMSEY, NJ, June 17, 1999 -  AlphaNet Hospitality Systems Inc., the leading supplier of business traveler services to the hospitality industry, today announced a distribution agreement with Boca Raton, Florida-based HotOffice Technologies, Inc., to offer the HotOffice Web-Based Intranet Service to AlphaNets The Office users.

The Office, an unattended self-serve business center located in hotels, will add the HotOffice icon to the splash screen of the personal computers found in The Office product.  This will enable business travelers to access their HotOffice intranet from any of The Office locations.   In addition, business travelers will be able to subscribe to HotOffice simply by clicking on the icon located conveniently on The Office PC desktop.

The Office is installed in over 50 hotels around the country and, over the next several months, will be installed in an additional 50 hotels.

HotOffice (www.hotoffice.com) offers small businesses, telecommuters and mobile workers an affordable hosted intranet at a fraction of the cost of purchasing and maintaining a traditional system. This subscription service provides a powerful suite of collaboration and communication tools in one simple, easy-to-use interface, accessible anytime anywhere.

From any PC in the world with an Internet connection and Web browser, HotOffice provides instant access to Web-based e-mail,  a group calendar, contact manager, document sharing, bulletin boards, online conference rooms, a business resource center and more.

It is our goal as a service provider to the business traveler to identify and make available the finest in communication technologies, said Mark Holzberg, president & CEO of AlphaNet. Having the ability to access their own private intranet at minimal cost is a huge benefit to the business traveler, and one we want to support.

Holzberg added, The addition of HotOffice to The Office suite of products will enable the business traveler to choose a hotel that has a complete technology offering, from Internet to intranet.

The agreement is the first for HotOffice in the hospitality market and demonstrates to their subscriber base that they are continually working to bring them solutions, making it easier for their customers to access HotOffice from wherever they are.
