PORTSMOUTH, N. H. (April 19, 1999) - Newmarket International,
Inc. today announced two appointments to its overseas operations, naming
Felix Yeo Regional Sales Director for its Asia Pacific office in Singapore,
and Fia Nilsson as Client Services Manager for its Europe Africa Middle
East office in London.
Yeo comes to Newmarket after serving as Director of Marketing for two
properties of Pan Pacific Hotels in Malaysia. Yeo oversaw construction
of the new Pan Pacific Hotel at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, and
served as Director of Operations and Resident Manager. Yeo has over
17 years of senior level sales and marketing experience, working at hotels
in Singapore, China, and Hong Kong. Yeo reports to Newmarket�s Asia
Pacific Managing Director Paul Rantilla.
Nilsson served for two years as Corporate Sales Coordinator for the
Landmark London Hotel and has held various hospitality jobs in London,
Singapore, and her native Sweden. Nilsson will work closely with
major corporate clients including Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide,
the Savoy Group, and Hyatt International. Nilsson reports to Dan
Hiza, Newmarket�s Managing Director for Europe, Africa, and the Middle
East.
