Harrisburg, PA (April 23, 1999) Pennsylvania�s Hospitality
and Tourism Industry faces many new challenges in the future years. As
Hospitality & Tourism positions itself to become the number one industry
in the Commonwealth by the year 2000, management and ownership will be
confronted with many important issues that will decide their future in
a highly competitive market. Such issues will be addressed during the Pennsylvania
Travel Council�s 1999 Annual Conference And Trade Show on June 7-9, 1999,
at the Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center.
Numerous educational workshops have been scheduled, including
such topics as Developing Employee Orientation Programs, The Four Critical
Factors for 21st Century Sales Management, Aquatic Risk Management, Simple
Solutions to Common Swimming Pool Problems, Employment Practices, Dealing
with High Profile Crisis, and Creating High Impact Marketing Plans.
Ron Jaworski, former Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback and NFL Player
of the Year will deliver the Keynote Speech. Other general session presenters
include Bill Scatchard, President of Applecart Hotel Enterprises and Bill
Flor, President of Sorry! No Vacancy.
The trade show will offer attendees over fifty vendors who will be exhibiting
the latest products and services that are currently available to the Hospitality
and Tourism Industry.
