Registration
Conference registration fees are US$200 per person if registered before April 16, 1999; $300 thereafter).  The registration fees cover one admission to all conference sessions, two luncheons, one dinner, three refreshment breaks, a copy of Conference Proceedings, and other conference materials. 

All presenters are requested to register for the conference with fees ($200 if registered before April 16, 1999).

 
Conference Hotel
Miramar Inter-Continental Hotel is the main conference venue. Miramar Inter-Continental and two other hotels offer special conference room rates (all rates are �net rates� inclusive of tax and service charges):

Airlines
COPA Airlines of Panama is the official airline of the conference. COPA offers 20% discount for conference delegates and 50% discount for conference speakers/presenters.  For reservations and flight schedules, contact a COPA office in your area and request the rate for Pan-American Tourism Conference.  Panama is also serviced by most of Latin America based carriers and several North American carriers including Continental, American, and Delta.
 
Conference Attire
Conference attire is �business casual� which could include jackets and shirts with or without ties for gentlemen and skirts or pants for ladies. Closing luncheon at Gamboa Rainforest Tropical Resort will be held outdoor, therefore all delegates are recommended to wear comfortable attire for the event.
 
Airport Hospitality Desk
Upon arrival at the Panama International Airport, proceed to the tourist information desk for IPAT.  Complimentary transportation between airport and conference designated hotels will be provided for delegates arriving and departing on May 19 and May 22.  Delegates arriving or departing on other dates are requested to make own airport transfer arrangements through the hotel they are booking.
 
Optional Post-Conference Tours
IPAT will make optional post-conference  tours for May 22 and May 23 available to interested individuals.
