The Regal Airport Hotel Opens 385 of 1,100 Rooms at Chek Lap Kok Airport 
 
HONG KONG - Feb. 2, 1999 -- Regal Hotels International brings unprecedented service, convenience and luxury to airport hotels with the Regal Airport Hotel, Asia's new world-class gateway hotel.

Linked by moving sidewalk to Hong Kong's new Chek Lap Kok airport, the gleaming luxury hotel features resort facilities such as an airport passenger lounge with shower facilities and an array of travelers' services. The hotel surrounds an open courtyard replete with a glass-roofed health club, and indoor and outdoor pools. Eastern and Western dining and beverage choices abound in five restaurants, two lounges and poolside bar.

The ultra-modern hotel is opening in phases, with 385 of 1,100 guestrooms and nine function rooms open now. Final touches are underway on a total of 11 restaurants and lounges, and Hong Kong's largest grand ballroom. When complete, the Regal Airport Hotel will be the newest of five upscale Regal Hotels International properties in Hong Kong, and Hong Kong's largest hotel.
