The 181 room Holiday Inn Express at Houston's Intercontinental Airport was sold by Preference Partnership to an unidentified group of California investors. The transaction was co-brokered by Peter Holmes and Bruce Holmes of BHA's Oklahoma City office and Hankamer & Associates of Houston. The sales price was reported as slightly more than $5,000,000.

The 96 room Best Western Santa Fe Inn located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was sold by Maya Inn, Inc. to New Hotel Associates, LLC, a Delaware Limited Liability Company for $3,740,000 or $38,958 per room. The 14 year old, three story, interior corridored property will remain a Best Western. The property was brokered by Peter Holmes and Bruce Holmes of BHA's Oklahoma City office.

The 110 room Country Inn in Altoona, Iowa has been sold to Motel 6. A private partnership sold the property to Motel 6 for $1,775,000. The 12 year old property will become a Motel 6 after undergoing a major renovation. The transaction was brokered jointly by Bill Nugent of BHA Kansas City and HMRS of Springfield, MO.

The 77 room Best Western Crossroads Inn located in Moore, Oklahoma was sold to Jay Bhakta by Sadguru, Inc. for $1,450,000. The property will undergo a $150,000 remodel and remain a Best Western. The property was brokered by Peter Holmes and Bruce Holmes of BHA Oklahoma City and Bill Nugent of BHA Kansas City. 

Additional August sales closed by BHA included the 55 room Quality Inn, Elk City, Oklahoma for $800,000 and the29 room Budget Host also located in Elk City for $400,000. Both motels were brokered by Peter and Bruce Holmes of  BHA's Oklahoma City office.
