HEDNA Announces European conference September 28th - 30th in Madrid
HEDNA the Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association, whose membership
is open to travel
agents, hospitality professionals and travel technology suppliers will
be holding its next conference in Madrid, from September 28th to 30th
The Association's aim is to encourage booking of hotels electronically,
and works closely with travel agents and the GDS like Galileo Amadeus
SABRE and WORLDSPAN.
This conference will feature a training day on 28th September for those
looking to improve their understanding of electronic distribution systems.
The main conference on 29th and 30th September will feature focus groups
on working with travel agencies, education in the hotel industry, the development
of technology standards, the impact of the EURO and influencing the development
of the GDS hotel product. Speakers include Michael Chissick, an expert
on the legal implications of marketing on the web, from the legal firm
FFW.
All HEDNA members are encouraged to attend this conference which promises
to highly interactive, educational and rewarding. First time attendees
to a HEDNA conference are especially welcome, and may attend without being

HEDNA [The Hotel Electronic
Distribution Network Association] is an international, not-for-profit organization
formed by hoteliers in 1991 to promote and accelerate the use of Global
Distribution Systems (GDS) as well as other electronic hotel reservation
