May 5, 1998 - Cypress Hotel Management Company president Larry K. Walker recently announced the appointment of his successor to direct the Sheraton Orlando North.  Fred C. Corso II assumes leadership of the Maitland hotel, as Walker steps down to devote more time to the growing investments and operations of Cypress Companies.  With his partner Tom McIntyre, president of Cypress Restaurants, Inc., Walker manages the affairs of the aggressive hotel and restaurant company whose sales have grown from 5 to 50 million dollars in less than two years.
 
Corso brings to the company a 40-year proven track record with the Sheraton organization including top management positions at the Sheraton St. John Hotel in Jacksonville, Sheraton Ritz Hotel, Minneapolis and Sheraton Philadelphia Hotel.
