Phoenix, AZ, Jan. 12, 1998 --- Twenty-year hospitality industry veteran William Jansen has been named vice president of North American Reservations for Best Western International, Inc. He joins the lodging giant to supervise 875 employees in the Domestic Reservations, Global Distribution Systems and Customer Service departments.

Prior to his new position, Jansen served as director of the Raleigh Reservations Center for Holiday Hospitality Corporation. His extensive background includes management positions in human resources and hotel property operations.
Jansen holds a bachelors of science degree in hotel management from Florida International University. Additionally, he sits on the board of the International Association of Reservation Executives and he has been recognized for his extensive involvement in community organizations.
