WORLDRES AND WIZCOM ANNOUNCE INTERNET ALLIANCE

SAN MATEO, CA, June 13 -- Two major providers of Internet hospitality services, WorldRes, Inc. and WizCom International, Ltd., announced today a link between their two systems and a strategic alliance to provide their combined Internet sales and marketing services to hotel companies worldwide.

WorldRes is the developer and operator of a new Internet-based reservation system which brings real-time reservations and advanced functionality to the sales and marketing of hotels on the World Wide Web. WizCom is a leading supplier of travel marketing distribution and systems connectivity for the travel industry, and currently provides direct connectivity to more than 80 hotel companies representing more than 10,000 properties.

The link between the WorldRes and WizCom systems, which will be operational in July, will capitalize on both companies strengths -- WorldRes' new advanced Web-based reservation system, and WizCom's massive state-of-the-art distribution system which currently serves many of the world's largest and finest hotel companies.

By linking to WorldRes, WizCom provides its clients with the ability to effectively market and sell their properties through WorldRes' growing network of Web site partnerships. Linking to WizCom provides WorldRes with a more efficient means for working with larger hotel companies.  Most importantly, WorldRes and WizCom together can now offer other Web sites the combination of WorldRes' functionality and WizCom's breadth of hotel product.  Major travel Web sites, online guidebooks, destination Web sites and corporate intranet booking
products can now all take advantage of the combined strengths of WorldRes and WizCom.

The alliance is expected to add thousands of new properties to the WorldRes system, which has been providing real-time reservations to hundreds of properties around the world for over a year.  "The WizCom link and alliance now brings us to critical mass and makes us much more desirable to front-end Web partners as a source for hotel content and reservations," stated Eric Christensen, chief executive officer of WorldRes.  "In turn, more front-end partnerships will increase hotel reservations for our clients."

"The agreement has been designed to broaden the Internet services WizCom is offering to our member properties, "stated Tom Murphy, WizCom's vice president. "WorldRes is an innovative and proactive Internet service for hotels, and their capabilities will create new opportunities for our clients."  WizCom will continue to offer and support its TravelWiz product on the World Wide Web in addition to its joint alliance with WorldRes.

The WorldRes system provides hotel content and booking capability to individual property and hotel company Web sites, and to various online travel sites, including Places To Stay, Preview Travel (on America Online), Travelocity, Fujitsu1s Wildbird site in Japan, and others.

The advanced functionality of the WorldRes system can be seen on WorldRes' own Places To Stay Web site (http://www.placestostay.com). Consumers can check availability across an entire city, such as San Francisco, simply by putting in dates along with other desired search criteria.  The hotel descriptions and rates consumers see on Places To Stay are actually input and updated by the hotel properties themselves over the Web.

Consumers are able to pick  preferred  properties  or  destinations, and  then receive special e-mail promotions targeted to these preferences, often resulting in substantial savings.  Any individual hotel with Internet access can access and participate in the WorldRes reservation system for no fixed cost - hotels only pay a transaction
fee for reservations received.

WizCom International, Ltd., was founded in 1987 and provides real-time reservations, Global Distribution Systems connectivity and communications information services to the travel, hotel and car rental industries.  WizCom processes reservations for over 80 hotel companies, and over 20 car rental companies.  A wholly-owned
subsidiary of HFS, the company employs 550 people, maintains its US headquarters in Garden City, New York, and its international sales office in Bracknell, UK.

WorldRes, Inc. (http://www.worldres.com) founded in 1995, provides Internet sales and marketing technologies and services to hotel properties around the world, at no fixed cost.  Using the latest Internet technology, WorldRes allows individual hotels and hotel companies to take reservations from multiple sources, using a single
interface. WorldRes, with offices in San Mateo, California, and London, also operates the consumer travel Web site, Places To Stay.

Properties and hotel companies interested in enrolling in the WorldRes system can contact WorldRes sales at (415) 372-1700, or apply online on the WorldRes Web site.
