Paul Miller has joined the Bureau as a national sales manager in the convention division where he will be responsible for soliciting national association and tradeshow accounts utilizing Moscone Convention center. He fills a vacancy created by Darrell Baker who left the Bureau last month to accept the position of Director of Sales at the Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Miller most recently worked for San Francisco's Palace Hotel as an account director handling association and corporate accounts in the Midwest and Northwest.
Prior to joining the Palace, he worked from 1990 to 1995 as a national sales manager for San Francisco's ANA Hotel.
Miller started his hotel career in 1988 with Hyatt Hotels, first in Orlando, Florida, then in Lisle, Illinois.
He sits on the housing committee of Professional Convention Management Association and the board of the Northern California Chapter of PCMA.
He is a graduate of University of Wisconsin, Madison.
