Climate: Tropical climate year-round; average temperature 73 degrees in winter and 83 degrees in summer.
Architecture/Design: The original structure of the resort estate -- the "Cloister' -- was built in 1926 by Addison Mizner and reflects Spanish Mediterranean, Moorish and Gothic influences. It is characterized by hidden gardens, barrel tile roofs, archways, ornate columns, finials, intricate mosaics, fountains and beamed ceilings of ornate pecky cypress.

Charters off Boca's noted coral reefs are available at the Marina with

Stream. Mounting and photographs with trophy sailfish, marlin, tuna, barracuda,
dolphin and other magnificent fish are offered.
Fitness Centers: The Cloister Fitness Center (fully equipped with aerobic and cardiovascular equipment) features a full complement of cardiovascular and weight training equipment, exercise studio, a variety of aerobic and toning classes. Computerized personalized fitness assessment and consultation and exercise tracking are also available. The Beach Club Fitness Center features a cardiovascular/weight room, private exercise studio for small group classes and personal work-out sessions and an outside whirlpool. The Country Club Fitness Center has a full line of hydra-fitness equipment, indoor half basketball court, four racquetball courts, along with a heated outdoor pool for swimming and aqua aerobics. All fitness facilities have sauna, steam, and private massage rooms. Whirlpools are available at the Cloister and Country Club centers.
Swimming: There are a total of five pools, one at the Cloister, two at Boca Beach Club and one pool each at the Boca Country Club and the Villas. Half-mile of private beach offers swimming in the Atlantic Ocean.
Other Recreation: Bicycling, croquet, volleyball, basketball, badminton and racquetball are also available on property.
Family Activities: The Resort and Club's Activities Department offers a full complement of special activities and events including family programs, catamaran cruises, movies, shopping excursions, theme parties, seminars, trips to local sporting events, walking tours of the Resort and Club's gardens and historic tours of the property (November through April).
Children's Activities: The Boca Family Fun program is a supervised daily recreational program, available year round and geared specifically to each of four distinct age groups - Boca Tots (Ages 3-5), Boca Bunch (Ages 6-10), Boca Sport (Ages 11-13) and Boca Raton 33432 (Ages 14-17).
Area Activities: Town Center, Royal Palm Plaza and Mizner Park all within 5 miles offer many fine stores and boutiques. At Royal Palm Polo Grounds, there is weekly polo between January through April. Complimentary shuttle service is available daily to Mizner Park from the Golf Pro Shop, on the hour, beginning at 11 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. (first departure on Sunday at 12 noon). Also shuttles to and from Town Center available (rainy days only), leaving the resort at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and returning at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Ground and Water Transportation: Rental cars and transfers by limousine and bus are available from all airports. A private airport is located in Boca Raton.
By Car: Interstate 95 and Florida Turnpike provide easy access to Camino Real. Boca Raton Resort and Club is located on Camino Real between U.S. 1 (Federal Highway) and A-I-A.
By Train: AMTRAK serves the south Florida area from major cities across the country.
By Yacht: Boca Raton Resort and Club Marina, located on the Intracoastal Waterway, provides full service for 25 boat slips at Mile Marker 67.
