Aston International Adds Property in Jakarta

Lippo Sudirman Grande Suites will be located in "Golden Triangle"

HONOLULU (October 13, l997) Aston International announced today it had signed an agreement with the Lippo Development Group to open and operate the Lippo Sudirman Grande Suites, a 750-suite five-star luxury service-apartment hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia. The project's grand opening will be in early 1998, with a soft opening planned for December 1997.

The new 40-story landmark property is centrally located in Jakarta's famed "Golden Triangle," adjacent to the Semanggi interchange. Other nearby businesses include the World Trade Center, the Convention Center, Atmajaya University, Jakarta Hospital, the Hilton Hotel, the Grand Hyatt, Plaza Senayan, a future MRT station, various embassies, Planet Hollywood, the Jakarta Stock Exchange and the Sudirman central business district.

Lippo Sudirman Grande Suites will include two- and three-bedroom apartment suites with complete kitchens and living and dining areas. Amenities include a full-service business center, health club, swimming pool with water slide, whirlpool, children's play school and pool area, two tennis courts, racquetball/squash courts, barbeque areas, basketball area, putting green, shuffleboard, shopping and food court and an Aston International-managed 24-hour brasserie restaurant.

Honolulu-based A&M Partners will be handling the interior design and buildout of the property.
