Telluride Ski & Golf Resort to Acquire the 32-suite
Inn At Lost Creek in Telluride, Colorado

May 10, 2013 (Telluride, Colorado)
- Telluride Ski & Golf Resort (TelSki) has announced the purchase of Inn at Lost Creek in Telluride, Colorado. With assumption of ownership from Ektornet USA, TelSki will own as well as operate the Inn at Lost Creek, an iconic and award-winning address set in the Mountain Village section of Telluride at the best ski-in/ski-out location in town. The closing date for the purchase was Monday, April 29, 2013.

Inn at Lost Creek is quite an addition for TelSki. Opened in 1998, the Inn has long been a year-round destination for the young and adventurous at heart, who come for the cool vibe, luxe amenities and privacy as well as for the ski-in/ski-out convenience. Inn at Lost Creek is also an enduring favorite with locals who, not surprisingly, are pleased the property has ended up in local hands. A decade-and-a-half along, the Inn continues to be a popular draw, having been named last year to Condé Nast Traveler's 2013 Gold List of the World's Best Places to Stay, as well as ranked among the top 50 ski hotels in North America in the magazine's annual Readers' Choice Awards.

Inn at Lost Creek is the first hotel to be owned and operated by TelSki, which owns and operates the Telluride Golf Course, nine dining outlets, six retail stores, Telluride Ski & Golf Club, several scenic private event venues, and manages the Telluride Conference Center.  TelSki was named the #1 Ski Resort in America for 2012 by Condé Nast Traveler.

"We couldn't let the opportunity to take ownership of Inn at Lost Creek slip past," said Jim Mikula, Executive Vice President of Telluride Ski & Golf Resort. "The hotel is a beloved and much-admired icon of our village and it fits seamlessly within our many resort offerings. We want to make sure the Inn is well taken care of and available for the benefit of new and returning guests."

Inn at Lost Creek has much to appeal to travelers seeking fun and adventure in the San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado. Each of its 32 suites is arrayed like an upscale home with rustic décor and features including kitchenette, mountain views, in-suite laundry, jet tub and steam shower, and a fireplace perfect for curling up following a long, fun day on the slopes. Access to the gondola into the heart of Telluride is just steps away. And the Inn is adept at arranging any sort of Colorado Rocky Mountain adventure, from preferred access to Telluride Golf Club, to fly-fishing on gold medal streams, to skiing in the backcountry or on the well-groomed slopes of Telluride Ski & Golf Resort.
