Mary Jobb Appointed as Director of Sales for Waldorf Astoria Orlando
and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek

The Two Resort Complex Totals Nearly 1500 Guest Rooms

ORLANDO, Fla. – April 5, 2013
– Peter Kacheris, managing director for Waldorf Astoria Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek has announced the appointment of Mary Jobb as director of sales of the nearly 1500-room complex located in Orlando, Florida.   Jobb, a 20-year veteran of hospitality sales will oversee the sales team and business development for the two resorts nestled in a nature preserve and conveniently located inside the gates of Walt Disney World. “We are delighted to have Mary join our team.  Her management, mentoring and organizational skills will be a great asset to the operation,” Kacheris said.

Jobb most recently held the position of vice president of sales with LXR, Luxury Resorts & Hotels.  She joined LXR in 2005 as part of the sales leadership team that focused on building the national sales organization.  In late 2008, she was promoted to vice president of field sales & executive meetings center, and lead the sales efforts for LXR properties in Boston; Washington, D.C.; Florida; and Jamaica; as well as the small meetings team centrally located in South Florida.

Prior to LXR, Mary served as director of sales at The Registry Resort & Club in Naples, Florida.  Her hospitality career began at the The Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where she progressed through positions from front desk supervisor to associate director of sales.

Jobb has two sons who currently attend Florida State University.  When not working, she enjoys fun in the sun with family and friends and cheering for the Noles.

Waldorf Astoria Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek offers the best of both worlds: a convenient “insider” location accessible from within Walt Disney World property and the peaceful serenity of the surrounding 482-acre nature preserve with nearly 1,500 elegantly appointed rooms and suites. Waldorf Astoria’s 171 stunning suites have been called “the best rooms in all of Central Florida.” Resort amenities include a 3-acre Florida-style lazy-river pool, a Rees Jones-designed championship golf course, a Waldorf Astoria spa, a full fitness center, and nearly a dozen dining and lounge options, including the award-winning La Luce by Donna Scala and Waldorf Astoria signature restaurant, Bull and Bear.
