HFTP Announces Strategic Alliance with NABHOOD and LHRA to Increase
Educational Opportunities for Hospitality Professionals Worldwide

AUSTIN, TEXAS, USA (April 1, 2013) — In a bid to ensure the quality of hospitality finance and technology education within the global hospitality industry, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) has formed an affiliation with the National Association of Black Hotel Owners, Operators & Developers (NABHOOD) and the Latino Hotel and Restaurant Association (LHRA). The goal of this new partnership is to combine resources that will increase their respective members’ access to quality education, networking and certification programs.

The affiliation will allow the groups to share resources and provide support when needed. The associations are working together to provide synergized member benefits through online education, shared access to journals, certification programs, industry education events and more.

“These alliances are terrific for all involved”, said Frank Wolfe, CAE, CEO of HFTP. “Collaboration with like associations and the sharing of resources is a major step in accomplishing a goal of our strategic plan. We are very pleased to become aligned with NABHOOD and the LHRA and look forward to a lengthy, rewarding relationship.”

Also in affiliation with HFTP, is the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA). HFTP recently participated in their annual convention and tradeshow, producing a slate of hospitality finance and technology sessions. To show further support the HFTP Executive Committee held their spring meeting in conjunction with this event.

HFTP currently holds similar alliances with several top-notch professional organizations around the globe including the Hospitality Professionals Association (HOSPA) and the Hotel Controllers and Accountants Association of Hong Kong (HCAA).
