Director
of its Forbes Four Star Alvadora Spa and its dynamic spa team.
Wood brings her passion for health and
wellness as well as more than 12 years of experience to her position as
Spa
Director for the premier destination resort and spa located at the base
of Camelback
Mountain. Prior to joining Royal Palms, Wood spent 12 years at Rancho Las Palmas Resort and Spa in California. The first six years, Wood served as a massage therapist until moving into a leadership role first as Spa Manager, followed by the role of Spa Director for the past two years and Assistant Spa Director for three years prior to that. While at Las Palmas, Wood was actively involved in the Spa’s marketing, strategies and promotional activities, while managing the daily operations, staffing and customer service initiatives. “Royal Palms is excited to welcome Glorianna as our new Spa Manager at Alvadora Spa,” said Steve Benson, Royal Palms Resort and Spa General Manager. “Her years of experience, leadership and extensive knowledge of spa operations will bring new energy to Alvadora’s evolving menu of spa offerings and services.” In her role, Wood will be responsible for all aspects of the spa operations and its integration within the hotel.
