Hotel Industry Veteran And FSU Alumnus Frank Nardozza
Inducted Into FSU College of Business Hall of Fame

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - April 15, 2013 - Francis J. “Frank” Nardozza has earned national and international recognition as a foremost adviser in mergers, acquisitions, financial restructurings and investment development in the real estate and hospitality investment arenas in a career that spans more than 35 years.

In recognition of his professional accomplishments and generous contributions to his alma mater, Nardozza was inducted into the Florida State University College of Business 2013 Hall of Fame during the 11th Annual Hall of Fame Dinner and Ceremony at the Augustus B. Turnbull III Florida State Conference Center, on April 11, 2013.

Since 2003, the college has honored alumni who embody the qualities that make it an extraordinary place to learn and grow. Like Nardozza, other Hall of Fame inductees have excelled in their careers and made significant contributions to the college.

Chairman and CEO of REH Capital Partners LLC, Nardozza graduated from the college in 1977 with a degree in accounting and is a director of the executive advisory board of the FSU Center for Real Estate Education and Research. He established the Nardozza Real Estate Scholars Program in the College of Business to encourage scholarly research on a wide range of real estate and urban economic issues. The endowed program provides continuing financial support for faculty and graduate student work and assists the College of Business in attracting the best and brightest to FSU. He also is a trustee of the FSU Foundation.

Before launching REH in 2001, Nardozza, a CPA, was a partner and practice leader for the National and Global Real Estate and Hospitality Consulting Practice at KPMG LLP, and KPMG Consulting Inc., two entities comprising one of the world’s largest professional services firms. He also is the founding chairman of the U.S. Lodging Industry Investment Council and serves on the executive advisory committee of New York University Hotel Investment Program and the executive planning board of the Americas Lodging Investment Summit. He is active with industry forums, including the Urban Land Institute, the American Hotel & Lodging Association and the American Resort and Residential Development Association.

“Mr. Nardozza’s investment, finance and consulting experience and current practice extends to all regions of the world, and he is a wonderful representative of the College of Business,” said nominator Dean Gatzlaff, director of FSU’s Center for Real Estate Education and Research and the Mark C. Bane Professor.

In addition to Nardozza, two other College of Business alumni were similarly honored at Thursday’s event:
  • Donna Abood, a 1981 graduate of the marketing program and CEO and founding partner of Colliers International South Florida, a leading global firm providing commercial and residential real estate services.
  • John Crossman, a 1993 graduate of the real estate program and president of Crossman & Company, one of the largest retail leasing, management, development and marketing firms in the southeastern United States.

REH Capital Partners, LLC is a private investment and advisory services firm headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with additional offices in Los Angeles, CA and the Washington, DC, area.  REH Capital Partners makes principal investments in real estate and hospitality assets as well as provides strategic investment advice, transactional services, asset management services and strategic consulting services to a wide range of public and private sector clients.
