News for the Hospitality Executive |
ORLANDO, Fla., March 19, 2013 – Intelity, a leader in hospitality technology and creator of the ICE enterprise platform, is launching a global expansion initiative with new locations and a surge in hiring. Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, the technology firm will open new sales offices in Chicago, New York, London and Singapore. Intelity President and CEO David Adelson said, “The past year has been incredibly successful for us. Hotels know who we are and they know what ICE is because we’ve been around since this technology first emerged. We need a stronger global presence to match the broadening demand.” At the head of domestic sales strategy and the two new U.S. offices is Jennifer Ranno, senior vice president of sales, Americas. She said the expansion coincides with increased desire by many travelers to modernize the traditional hotel model. “I think the hospitality industry is realizing the evolution of guests’ expectations, and as one of the industry’s top technology providers, we’re the ones they’re turning to,” Ranno said. “Travelers want instant, convenient and cutting edge. We allow hotels to cater to this need, while still maintaining their unique style and identity.” Intensified international efforts will be led by Jake Buckstead, senior vice president of international hospitality sales. “We’re seeing an incredible amount of interest among hotels overseas,” Buckstead said. “In the past few months alone, we’ve been contracted to deploy in more than two dozen hotels in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Great hospitality and high quality service are a trademark of these regions, which has driven Intelity’s success in these markets.” In addition to new locations, Intelity is recruiting team members for the engineering, development and client services departments. Open positions include systems engineer, systems support analyst, application specialist, project manager, and content and design specialist. Adelson said, “The recruitment of new talent will help us to not only maintain, but exceed the level of quality that’s come to be associated with our company.” The first to install integrated guest self-service software in guest rooms, Intelity’s ICE guest services platform is now featured in nearly 500 hotels on six continents. ICE is available on tablets, smartphones, laptops and TVs and integrates with 35 hotel management systems, the highest certified offering available in the industry. “We’re excited about the coming year,” Adelson said. “There are a lot of eyes on us curious about where we’re going to lead this industry, and I think we’ve got a few developments in the works that will redefine in-room technology. This year, we’re looking to truly revolutionize the guest room experience all over again.” For more information on Intelity, visit www.intelitycorp.com.
