A self-professed "hospitality marketing and sales evangelist" who counts more than 15 years of experience in building, restructuring and transforming hotel brands into profit centers, Thomas oversees all marketing and sales efforts for both Westin properties in Las Vegas, including developing effective strategies for drawing group clientele to the combined 95,000 square feet of meeting and event space offered at both locations. Thomas attributes much of her success to her voracious appetite for continuous learning and top-notch professional development. In addition to earning an MBA from Suffolk University, she has furthered her credentials though the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige Quality Program of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, having recently been honored with an appointment as a National Malcolm Baldrige Examiner. She is also a candidate for Cornell University's Certificate Program in Hospitality Strategic Marketing and is a graduate of the Introductory Leader's Program of Landmark Education. When not working to enhance the bottom line of The Pyramid Resort Group, Thomas contributes significant time as a volunteer. She is a professional development mentor and leadership coach for Landmark Education and serves as a Malcolm Baldrige examiner contributing to the national effort to recognize hospitality and non-profit organizations to promote performance excellence. She is deeply committed to pursuing philanthropic and spiritual works while making time for creative pursuits including travel, writing for industry publications and investment trading. She is also a sought-after speaker at professional association events and is becoming a fitness fanatic.
