Michal Sabata Named as Director of Food & Beverage for the 500-room
International Palms Resort and Conference Center Cocoa Beach in Florida

COCOA BEACH, Fla. (February 5, 2013) – The International Palms Resort and Conference Center Cocoa Beach has announced the addition of Michal Sabata, Director of Food & Beverage, to the resort’s executive team. In his new role, Sabata will be responsible for the oversight and management of all food and beverage initiatives in the four onsite restaurants and eateries and for the banquet space.

Sabata brings more than 15 years of experience in culinary talent to his role at International Palms Resort.  Most recently he served as Director and Executive Chef at the Ramada Resort in Kissimmee, Fla. after spending two years as the Executive Chef and Manager at the four-star Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club in Celebration, Fla.  During his time at Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club, Sabata was responsible for a total revitalization of the food and beverage department while managing eight dining outlets on property, serving nearly 1,000 customers each day. Prior to that, he spent several years in the Orlando area at the four-star Lake Buena Vista Resort in Downtown Disney, four-star Sheraton Suites and three-star Sheraton Four Points. Sabata attended the University of Central Florida and Charles University in the Czech Republic, earning a degree in hotel management and culinary arts.
