Wendy Ferrill Promoted to Vice President of Worldwide Sales
for Best Western International


PHOENIX (October 22, 2012) - Best Western International, the WORLD’S BIGGEST HOTEL FAMILY®, announced today that Wendy Ferrill has been promoted to vice president of Worldwide Sales.

Ferrill joined Best Western in 2008 as managing director of Worldwide Sales. She is responsible for relationship management strategy and business development, both domestically and internationally. During her tenure at Best Western, Ferrill has been instrumental in change management for the worldwide sales organization which has led to significant revenue growth for the brand.

She was named one of the ”Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in Sales & Marketing&rdquo" by Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) earlier this year.

”Wendy is an exceptional sales thought leader and has been a game-changer for our worldwide sales team,” said Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Best Western International. ”She has helped us win new business, position the brand with corporate buyers, and hired and developed a best–in–class sales team.”

Ferrill attended the University of Arizona. Her 25 years of sales-leadership experience includes time at Wyndham International, Remington Hotels, and Destination USA.
