Red Lion Hotels Hires Steve Krebs as
Director of Lodging Development

SPOKANE, Wash., Oct. 2, 2012
– Red Lion Hotels Corporation (NYSE: RLH) today announced that Steve Krebs will join the company as Director of Lodging Development.  Based in Albuquerque, NM, Krebs will be responsible for lodging support and development in several Western states.

“Steve has nearly two decades of experience in hospitality, economic development and the military,” said Ron Burgett, Executive Vice President of Lodging and Brand Development for Red Lion Hotels.  “He brings unique skills and contacts that will complement our ongoing efforts to strengthen growth initiatives in key markets in the Southwest.”

Over the past 15 years Steve has served as Director of Franchise Development for AmericInn, Vice President of Marketing for Supertel Hospitality and Director of Economic Development for Reno County Chamber of Commerce.  Most recently Krebs served as a consultant to many franchises in workforce development, specifically focused on skill based hiring, retention, and turnover reduction.

“Red Lion is known for the personal attention paid to franchised hotels,” said Steve Krebs, Director of Lodging Development for Red Lion Hotels.  “That is the level of service I want to offer franchise owners who sign on the dotted line with us.”

Krebs has earned masters degrees in business administration and management and leadership, has completed the Command and General Staff College through the Army Reserve, and has served as adjunct business faculty in New Mexico.
