The 117-room Grand Caymanian Resort to Re-Brand
as the Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman


Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, October 22, 2012
– The Grand Caymanian Ltd., a Grand Cayman -owned hotel and resort Development Company has announced plans to convert The Grand Caymanian Resort (formerly Ramada) into Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman.

The 117-room Grand Caymanian Resort is located at 278 Crighton Drive, directly on the North Sound behind the North Sound Golf Club. The resort will undergo a variety of modifications designed to meet the high standards of the franchise’s parent company Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) and the Holiday Inn Resort Collection which will be completed for the upcoming tourist season.

Enhancements to the interior and exterior of the resort are being made to provide guests with the amenities and services they have come to expect, including free Wi-Fi access in all guestrooms, public areas and meeting spaces, expanded food and beverage options to include a signature Breakfast Buffet and enhanced dining options such as kids under 12 eat fee, children’s activity programs, interactive water features on the main pool deck, upgraded bath amenities, upgraded meeting space and Holiday Inn Resort’s premium bedding program.

The Grand Caymanian Ltd. acquired the resort in 2010 and will convert the resort located in Grand Cayman, a popular tourist area for outdoor, beach and water sport related activities and proximate to popular Seven Mile Beach. Crestline Hotels & Resorts, a resort management company consistently ranked among the top ten hotel and resort management companies in the U.S., will serve as the hotel operator.
