Menin Hotels to Open the 87-room Gale and Regent South Beach
in Miami Beach, Florida in December 2012

Completing its $35 Million Restoration of the Circa 1941 Historic Property

October 8, 2012
- Adding a new property to its rapidly expanding portfolio, prominent Miami-based hospitality group Menin Hotels has announced plans to accept reservations beginning October 3, 2012 in anticipation for its latest project, Gale and Regent South Beach‘s opening on December 4, 2012.

Originally built in 1941 by Miami architect L. Murray Dixon, the historic property is located in the heart of South Beach, on the Southwest corner of 17th Street and Collins Avenue. Maintaining its original name and structure, Gale & Regent South Beach will reopen following its $35 million restoration and renovation to reveal an updated Italian Riviera-influenced design that pays homage to its vintage Miami roots.

Gale and Regent South Beach will be home to several new dining options, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a subterranean nightclub, Chicago's famed speakeasy-inspired lounge Drumbar and a 5,000-square-foot rooftop pool deck with expansive ocean and city views.

“This is our most extensive renovation of a classic South Beach property to date and we are eager to share our vision with our new guests,” says Keith Menin, Principal of Menin Hotels. “The renovation has allowed us to breathe new life into this historic hotel and gives us great pride to showcase our ongoing commitment and investment to our home town – working with the city to preserve its history while also continuing to evolve Miami’s appeal as a travel destination.”

Featuring 87 rooms and suites, guests can select from a Studio or a variety of Signature room suites offering luxury linens, marble bath appointments, exclusive Menin Hotels GuyandGirl bath amenities, 400 thread count Italian robes, a 47” high-definition LCD television with an expanded 90 channel HD lineup on the latest IBAHN system, ihome docking station for the latest ipads, fully-stocked mini bar, high-speed wireless Internet access, access to two complimentary chairs at Shelborne Beach Club and nightly turn-down service.

Reservations can be made by calling 305.673.0199.
