has a new general manager, Dwight Hofauf, whose resume is heavy
with credentials in creating memorable lodging and event experiences
for guests
and clients. Hopfauf is now lending his
20+ years of experience in the hospitality industry to managing this
historic
hotel. Before accepting the GM post with
Dubuque’s most storied property, Hopfauf held lead positions at
prominent
resorts and hotels in Illinois, Wisconsin and Missouri. Along
with general management skills he also
has an extensive background in food and beverage management.
Hopfauf holds an associate’s degree in hotel,
motel and restaurant management from Bismarck State College in North
Dakota.
