The 150-room Heathman Hotel in Kirkland, Washington
Appoints Rachel Reber as Sales Manager

Portland, Ore. – (Nov. 6, 2012) – The historic Heathman Hotel, Portland’s premier, full-service luxury hotel has added Rachel Reber as a Sales Manager. Reber will be responsible for maintaining existing and establishing potential client relationships, in addition to negotiating contracts for the landmark hotel which was voted one of Travel + Leisure’s Best Hotels in the World and selected as a Condé Nast Top U.S. Hotel.

Reber is no stranger to the Heathman Hotel as she served as a Personal Concierge before leaving in early 2011 to gain essential sales experience at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront.  During her tenure as a Sales Coordinator for Marriott, Reber excelled at supporting the sales and marketing strategies for a team of three executive managers and played an integral role in the overall success of the various management teams.

Prior to her stint at Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront, Reber was an asset to the Heathman team where she nurtured customer relationships, facilitated memorable visits to the city, and coordinated wine events in the hotel’s library. She first gained hospitality experience at Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in Garmisch, Germany. She was a server and hostess in three restaurants, co-directed customer service training programs and interacted with an array of international guests.

Reber attended Oregon State University-Cascades at its Bend, Oregon campus and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Speech Communications.
