MCLEAN, Va. - - (November 5, 2012) – DoubleTree by Hilton today announced the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Deerfield Beach, the latest addition to the rapidly expanding portfolio of DoubleTree by Hilton hotels worldwide. Owned by Continental Properties and managed by Ocean Properties, the 220-room hotel previously was a Hilton but currently is in the midst of a two-year property upgrade and now will welcome guests with an oven-baked chocolate chip cookie, a welcoming gesture known around the world as the signature of the DoubleTree by Hilton brand.

The hotel has recently added new 40-inch flat screen televisions in each guest room and upgraded HVAC in the hotel’s spacious grand ballroom. Over the next 24 months, new furnishings will enhance the guest rooms and the lobby will be renovated.
