Red Lion Hotels Completes Conversion and Opens
the 97-room Red Lion Inn & Suites in Cathedral City, California

SPOKANE, Wash., Dec. 18, 2012 -- Red Lion Hotels Corporation (NYSE: RLH) announced the Red Lion Inn & Suites Cathedral City has converted to the brand.

"The timing could not be better for our guests looking for a warm winter destination in the Palm Springs area," said Ron Burgett , Executive Vice President of Lodging and Brand Development for Red Lion Hotel Corporation.  "This property will be the first in our system to display the new Red Lion Inns & Suites logo and exterior signage."

As part of a rebranding campaign, the company has more clearly segmented Red Lion Hotels and Red Lion Inns & Suites to better define guest services and offerings at each of the locations.

Located just seven miles southeast of Palm Springs, the Red Lion Inn & Suites Cathedral City, 69151 E. Palm Canyon Dr., has 97 rooms and approximately 750 square feet of meeting space.  Among other highlights, the hotel has an outdoor pool and sundeck and is surrounded by more than 100 golf courses in the region.  The hotel is owned and managed by Sang and Connie Chae of WR Management Co., based in Bellevue, Wash.

"Because we are located in a year-round resort destination, our hotel is a great addition for Red Lion guests," said Sang Chae of WR Management Co. "Additionally, we are proud to be the first Inn & Suites with the new signage."
