Home2 Suites by Hilton to Debut in Mexico with a 100-suite Home2 Suites
to be Built in Querétaro with a 2015 Opening Planned

McLean, Va. (Dec. 19, 2012) – Home2 Suites by Hilton, the award-winning mid-tier, all-suite hotel brand designed for modern business travelers and extended stay guests, has signed an agreement to bring the brand’s first property to Mexico.  This is the first Home2 Suites in Latin America. The announcement is the culmination of a successful year for the brand, with milestones including the opening of the 10th Home2 Suites by Hilton, the first signed deal in Canada, the groundbreaking of its first dual-branded property and the brand’s one year anniversary since the opening of the first property.

The 100-suite, new construction Home2 Suites will be located in Querétaro, México, a popular business and leisure travel destination, and is set to open in 2015. The Home2 Suites by Hilton Querétaro is the next step in the brand’s continued expansion into North America, and follows the recent announcement of the first signed deal for a Home2 Suites in West Edmonton, Canada.

The Home2 Suites Querétaro will feature the trademark brand amenities standard in all properties, such as the Oasis lobby area, the Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, Spin2 Cycle and the “Inspired Table” complimentary breakfast.

Home2 Suites by Hilton currently operates 13 hotels and has nearly 70 properties in its development pipeline. The brand currently has 10 properties under active construction in Huntsville, Ala.; Jackson/Ridgeland, Miss.; Philadelphia, Pa.; Rahway, N.J.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; Baltimore, Md.; Augusta, Ga.; Austin, Texas; Nashville, Tenn.; and Florida City, Fla. Future properties are slated for many of the nation’s major markets, including Houston, Atlanta, Washington, D.C. and Denver.
